Pall Dia Filtroplast filter cartridge is an asymmetric structure filter cartridge made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), consisting of a support layer and a surface filtration layer. A thin and dense filter membrane is coated on the support layer of coarse particles, and the two are firmly sintered together in a controlled sintering process. The supporting body and filter membrane form an inseparable whole with excellent strength, suitable for backwashing conditions.  

Dia Filtarlast ® is sintered from High Density PolyEthylene (HDPE) material, which meets various media operating conditions. It has excellent chemical compatibility and an asymmetric structure. The support layer and surface filtration layer adopt different structures, and the unique structure makes it easier to backwash and regenerate. The support layer adopts a large particle structure, with high filtration flux. The surface of the filter layer is coated with a high-precision thin layer, which plays a role in surface screening mechanism, avoiding clogging of micropores, and has a filtration accuracy of over 1 μ m with uniform pore size. The surface layer and support layer are bonded by high-temperature sintering, which has excellent mechanical properties and can meet a backwash pressure of 6 bar.
